I suggest that EMS shouldnt be allowed to carry government keys.
Just recently I saw an EMT unlock our evidence room. We've had more evidence stolen from our evidence room then put in, and no one besides PD and whoever else should have access to it.

If someone needs an EMT where a government key is needed, the person who called 911 should wait outside and let them in. This has gone too far, and something needs to be changed.

EMS needs to be at the hospital at all times to help the cizitens. especially if they are the only one on duty

+1 It should be set up as the following.

Police should have keys to ALL Government buildings.
The Judges/Mayor should have keys to ALL Government buildings.
EMS should have keys to ONLY their building.
Fire should have keys to ONLY their building.

Agreed. I have people in mind that could've been the ones to steal evidence due to them having Gov keys. If they need to get in, they need to call for an officer.

The only problem with this is that if there are no government officials at lets say city hall and we need to get in, we can't. I don't know if anyone knows this but EMS has keys to everything. Even owned houses and stores, the bank, ect.

If someone called 911 for EMS to come, said person should be able to let EMS in to wherever they need to go.

IRL that is how it should be but 9 times out of 10, whenever we get a call on our screen, nobody else is there.

they have keys to owned houses??? uhhhh lets add a lil bit more realism to this, normally when ems or fire cant get in, pd wil be dispatched to the scene, or more than likely they will already be there.. and they will kick the door down, or be there for a witness "liability purposes" that's how we did it at my agency, if it was a suspicious call or something like that, PD will roll code over the the said address, ive had a few of those in my dispatch career. kinda scary I may add. but yeah.. ems dosent need keys to every building..

If EMS need assistance to enter a government building, they should call the police or FD like they are supposed to do IRL.
